Chocolate Fondue
Chocolate Fondues make unusual, delicious and easy desserts to share. Any kind of chocolate may be used and dippers may be fresh fruit (strawberries, pineapple, oranges), figs, nuts, marshmallows, macaroons, cake cube, wafers. Variations on ‘plain’ chocolate fondues are chocolate-peanut, chocolate-hazelnut, mocha, chocolate-caramel.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup thickened cream, 350 g chocolate (finely chopped), dippers, ¼ cup liqueur (if desired).
Method:
Slowly simmer cream in medium saucepan. Remove from heat and add chocolate gradually. Stir gently until chocolate dissolved. Add liqueur and stir until combined away from heat. Serve in fondue set with dippers. (Serves 4)
